WOW. This place is simply perfect, by far my favorite cafe over the course of the past few years- calm ambiance with tasteful mood music, comfortable sink-into arm chairs that make for great reading nooks, fantastic chocolate chip cookies, and creative, flavorful sandwiches. The cookie tasted like it dropped out of heaven with a caramel aftertaste, crispy and buttery texture - and the best part: not too sweet. I tried the autumn sandwich with crunchy tart apple grilled with cheese; the prosciutto and fig panini was also superb in balancing flavors. My toddler devoured a donut - and based on the one bite she permitted me to take, I can see why she wasn't keen on sharing. Will make a point of eating here any time I'm visiting Kiawah! read more
