Deciding to try something new before heading to the casino, and I remembered seeing this place right as you exited on the right. I say this because on the map it has it further inward, so keep that in mind. I came after the lunch crowd so the place was starting to clear out. After glancing at the menu for a second, a friendly waitress appeared to take my order. I asked what she recommended and she was super friendly from the start and told me the most popular item was the po-boy. Please keep in mind there were only 2 ladies working at the moment and both of them really took the time to see if I needed anything. Service gets 5 stars for great smiles, recommendations and little small talk. I decided on the 6" fish po-boy with fries. What I received had to have been one of the best fish po-boys I have eaten to date. The bread was crunchy on the exterior and soft in the middle, it was that perfect delicious French bread Louisiana is known for. The fish had just come out of the fryer and had a crispy and flaky texture that was perfect for the po-boy. It was dressed with lettuce, tomato and I believe some sort of mayo, to be honest I inhaled that sandwich so fast that honestly it's hard for me to say if it was just mayo.
