Pretty good value for Korean food and Korean-style Japanese! Came here for an early dinner around 5:30 pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was empty at that time, but they had multiple take out orders throughout our meal. I really wanted the Deluxe Chirashi don but it was crossed out on their menu. Instead, we got the regular Chirashi don for $16.25. For this price, I think it was pretty decent, with 2 salmon, 2 tuna, 2 hokkigai, 3 octopus, some squid, and tamago pieces. We also got the Korean fried chicken for $18. There were about 12-13 pieces of boneless crispy chicken, and we chose the sweet soy flavour. These were really tasty and stayed crispy throughout the meal. We also got the BC roll, which took a really long time to come out as we added that to our order later. It had 5 pieces, and it was okay. I also ordered the $2.50 fruit tea, made with jasmine tea, and chose the passionfruit flavour. This was a really good price and super refreshing. The one complaint I have is there was a super strong oil smell present. It was so strong, the smell remained on my clothes after 1 wash (although not as strong). I am not sure if it is because of their open kitchen style or a broken range hood or something. There is some free street parking in the nearby neighbourhood. I hope to come here for happy hour or lunch soon as their prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back! read more
