A great addition to the Independence area of 291 and 40 highway. The place was crazy packed on it's first Friday night open. The staff in place did a good job of keeping up with the crowd. I sat in the bar area & enjoyed visiting with the couple next to me- I tried the wings (great) and the Italian nachos - fried wonton wrappers with some pepperoni, provolone and pepper jack cheese along with pepperoncini. I think there was supposed to be some Italian sausage on them too but if there was any, it wasn't much. The nachos are accompanied with a side of warm marinara. I also got to try the pepperoni rolls and they were great - nice and buttery with garlic!
I don't know that I'd order the nachos again but would order the $4.00 short stack wings and Siclilian Pepperoni rolls again.
All the bartenders were friendly and helpful.
After I got home the next day I did notice where I was charged for a top shelf long island tea. I ordered the happy hour $4.00 Old Chicago tea (or whatever it was called) .
I should have checked my ticket more closely when I got it. I'll go back. read more
