I have been wanting to come to Jungle Fever Exotics for quite some time. I have driven past it plenty of times and was curious about it but it wasn't until quite recently until we finally made a stop here.
The outside of the nursery was mildly intriguing but a lot of plants and the set up definitely had the "out of season" vibe. We saw some Venus Flytraps outside that were cool and some pretty red flower plants.
But going inside is where we saw a lot of exotic and impressive looking plants. There were more carnivorous plants that definitely were more unusual looking than the Venus Flytraps. There were other plants that were great looking like the little plant with spikes in the middle of the leaves. I deemed it to myself a "punk rock " plant.
There were some beautiful red and purple leafed plants inside as well.
We didn't purchase anything for the reason being that we aren't very good with keeping plants alive to begin with. Steve more so than me so we would need something very low maintenance. And we could have asked for such a thing and perhaps we will when we come back again but this first visit was definitely a visit based out of curiosity. read more
