This place has been on my list for a while. Not because I heard it's amazing. More because, as Alaska's only Yelp employee...I consider it duty to visit as many unique places as I can. This place: yeah, it's a hotel bar alright. They have 4 beers on tap. Two are Alaskan Brewing (meh) and two are non-micro beers (meh). I went with a Sam Adams lager...solely because I haven't had one in...maybe 10 years? It was pretty decent. They had some cheap happy hour eats and, shockingly, a full-restaurant menu. Service was fantastic though! The staff were friendly and accomodating. Probably worth going to if you're in Anchorage for business but...not if you live here. read more
