I had never heard of this Korean spot in LA until my friend recommended it. What a hidden gem!The Spicy Pork Belly Rice Bowl was so addictive! The pork had the perfect lean-to-fat ratio and the spice level was just right to excite the taste buds without being overpowering. I couldn't stop eating it!
The Korean-style Beef and Sweet Potato Noodles were also a winner. The lean beef was tender, not dry at all. And they gave you a huge portion of fresh veggies, making it feel light and healthy.
We got the small size of the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken to share and it was the perfect amount for two people. The batter was insanely crispy and the sauce was rich and flavorful - a must for fried chicken fans!
The Cheese Ball dessert wasn't my favorite as it felt a bit overpriced. And the seasonal drink would be a bit too sweet.
The staff was so friendly, enthusiastically describing each dish. The food seemed like a healthier, less oily take on traditional Korean fare with toned down spice levels. No wonder it's popular with the gym crowd for takeout. read more
