Friendly service.. cute decor inside, upbeat music. I ordered the bulgogi Sandwich.. loaded with ingredients. Nice find in DTLA.

Friendly service with a smile :) Bulgogi rice dish was flavorful and yummy. Sweet and spicy fried chicken was more on the sweet side, a great match with the savory bulgogi. I'd definitely come back :)

OMG--I can't believe I just discovered this place, and I'm about to move out of LA! Bann is a small, super cute spot that's perfect for a quick dine-in meal or grabbing something to go. The service is fast--I didn't have to wait long at all for my order, which is always a plus. I've ordered from Bann twice now--once through DoorDash and today for carryout. The first time, I got the spicy chicken bowl with extra chicken. It was so good! I wish it had a little more kick, but the flavor was on point--even when I reheated it the next day. Solid 10/10. Today, I tried the beef bulgogi with extra beef, and wow--Bann nailed it! The flavor and texture were perfect. I love that sweet bulgogi flavor, and they really delivered. I would say there were a few too many onions for my taste, but still a strong 9/10. The only downside for me is the white rice--it's a bit too mushy and clumpy. But honestly, that's a small thing compared to how tasty everything else has been. I'll definitely be back at least once more before I leave in two weeks!

The place is small, yet nice, tucked away in DTLA. The service is always polite (it's my second visit), and the food is good. My coworkers split a bulgogi sandwich and they loved it. I enjoyed my chicken as well. Had a great flavor. I myself like crunchy chicken even when it's sauced up. They nailed it. I'm a man of color and they know how to do chicken! Lol. If you ever need a quick bite to eat for lunch, this is a great place for you!

Food is so delicious and the owners are always very sweet as well. Def give this spot a try! Love the soy garlic chicken it's so crispy can't go wrong with the sauce either. Felt adventurous and tried beef grilled cheese today and it was good! I normally opt for the kimchi grilled cheese but the beef wasn't bad!

The owner has always so lovely. I've neverrrr had bad food here.. And the shop is quite homey. I literally always recommend people to get the bulgogi sandwich if they like fusion food... I would say it's the star of the menu. Everyone I take there end up going back with friends with their own :)) Parking is tough but it's downtown LA so expected. If you're here on the weekend, give them a visit because the owner said it gets really slow on the weekend.

I love how clean and empty the inside was, though seating is limited if you come with more people. They have good food options, self-serve water, and a variety of sauces and drinks. I tried the banana coffee, it was fun to try, but I wouldn't get it again. The beef bulgogi sandwich was great, but the braised beef grilled cheese was the star. Absolutely delicious on sourdough with the sauce. The strawberry drink was also incredibly fresh and tasty. I'd go back just for that grilled cheese. Parking can be a hassle, but the food makes up for it.

Looking for a new dish to try via delivery, I found the beef bulgogi sandwich from KitchenBann. At roughly $15 at the time for this review, I found it to be a good value pending the flavor and size. Upon receiving the sandwich, I found that the size is slightly larger than average for with a good balance of beef to the other toppings. The flavor was outstanding! A great blend of the bulgogi sauce to the avocado and other vegetables made this sandwich so delicious. I would definitely buy 2 for a big lunch for a future order!!

Food was amazing, service was polite and friendly, and the place clean and cozy. Definitely a must try I recommend the bulgogi sandwich and the KFC any flavor all are good

This is my second time eating from this location. I had the Bulgogi Bowl and the sweet and spicy chicken. As you can see from the pictures, you do get a nice portion of rice, veggies and the bulgogi. Which has a good flavor. Nothing amazing that brings me to my knees and gives me a revelation. It's fine. Fine enough that I would come back to eat that. The real winner is the sweet and spicy boneless Korean fried chicken. That side alone is delicious and worth it. I didn't see anything on the menu that includes this item as part of the bowl but they should make a rice bowl with this chicken as the main ingredient and some veggies. For the price it is not bad at all. I would recommend this place for some pretty good Korean rice bowls and I would come back again. Pretty solid spot for the money.

Stopped by here to have a nice homestyle meal . I called ahead to ensure the order would be ready. It took about 15 minutes and it was ready by the time I got there. I had the shredded beef galbi and it was quite a large portion. I had enough for lunch and dinner. The staff was so nice and friendly. Looking forward to coming back again to try other dishes.

This is a little hidden gem for sure!!! I ordered the Braised Beef Grilled Cheese and it was probably one of the best I've had. The beef had amazing flavor, was super tender and was paired with an amazing sauce. My girlfriend ordered the Bulgogi Beef bowl and she loved it. The restaurant is small but, there is one large table that can seat about 6. I would highly recommend trying this place. I can't wait to come back, their service was also excellent!

We were able to order in the line, and got our food within 10 minutes once we finally sat down. I tried their handmade clam kalgusku soup and beef bulgogi. Both portions were generous. The kalguksu was incredible comforting, with chewy, long, freshly made noodles in a rich, savory broth that was packed with clams. The beef bulgogi was also delicious. It came with a side of salad and rice. The bulgogi was tender, well-merinated, and paired well together with the sides. We ordered the medium bossam, galbi kalguksu, perilla seed kalguksu and spicy pork. There were 5 of us but the portions were so generous, we had enough food with some bossam left over. The bossam was amazing! The best we've tasted. We all loved the perilla seed kalguksu due to its taste and also bc it's so healthy for you. The owner came by to check how we liked the galbi kalguksu since it was a newly created dish and we told her that it was delicious, seasoned just right. Before the meal, as they brought out the side dishes, they brought out barley rice with denjang on top to mix with yeol-moo kimchi. That was a special touch. We absolutely loved the food there. I saved the info so that we can return when we visit Koreatown again in the near future. Highly recommend this place to anyone who craves exceptional Korean food.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
