The tteokbokki was very reasonably priced, with a soft, chewy, and bouncy texture. It included rice cakes, fish cake, and an egg. Flavor wise, it leaned more toward the sweeter side and was not very spicy.
We ordered the full-size fried chicken, which allows you to choose two flavors. You can add a third flavor for $1, while the half order comes with only one flavor. We chose Golden Honey, a savory sweet sauce, and the Kalbi sauce, which has a Korean BBQ profile with a sweet soy flavor. For my taste, both sauces were slightly on the salty side.
The server was very friendly and checked in on us regularly. They also let us know that we could ask for more pickled radish at any time, which was a nice touch.
Also not going to lie, I don't know how it feel for a restaurant specializing in Korean Fried Chicken and is also selling Vietnamese Banh Mi. It made me question the quality of the fried chicken. read more
