We visited La Catrina on St Laurent last week for supper and were pleasantly surprised by the experience! (In a good way!) We chose to sit indoors, however they also have a lovely terrasse that you can sit at if you want. I was also a huge fan of the music, if you enjoy spanish/latin music, you'll love their playlist! We ordered the guacamole with homemade tortilla chips to start and let me tell you, it was amazing. It's made fresh at your table and the portion is massive! They also have a nice bar, which we ordered the margaritas, and these I would have to say were some of the best margaritas we have ever had. They were flavourful, beautifully presented and they weren't cheap on the alcohol :). For our main, we chose three different tacos to share - the fried fish (came with 2 tacos), the fried chicken (came with two tacos) and the beef brisket (came in an order of three). Our favourites were definitely the fried chicken and the beef! The tacos were piled high with ingredients and unlike some other taco places I have been to, we were so full! So I would say three types to share between two with an app, is more than enough! They currently have happy hour specials wed and thurs nights from 5-7!
