DO NOT CALL THIS SCAM! I saw their good looking trucks and received a high quality ad in the mail, so I called. My sink drain was old N rusted underneath the sink and I could've repaired it, but I work and didn't want to do it. I called at 9am, told the dispatcher that I needed a new sink drain. I paid the $99 over the phone and was told the plumber would be there tomorrow between 8-1pm. I take the day off and am up at 8 just in case. Noon rolls around and I get a text that he was running behind and would be there between 12-1. So now my day is shot. 3pm rolls around and as I'm on the phone cancelling, the truck pulls up. A prison tatted dude is just standing in front of the door with his helper, didn't knock, just stood there. I open the door and he stares at me like I have 9 heads. I said to come in. I show him the problem and he immediately asks me to sign his computer work pad in order " to allow him to work." I read the agreement before signing and it says that I agree to pay the full amount being charged on the invoice. I say "I'm not signing this, I haven't received an invoice." He plays it off and say "Oh, I didn't realize that's what I was making you sign" Mind you that I've been in this biz, I remodel kitchens and bathrooms. He starts trying to point out problems that aren't there, saying I need a new this, a new that, that he needs to replace both drains and my reverse osmosis system is more expensive to fix. I said"I just want the sink drain fixed on one side, the other side is new." He calls his boss for an estimate. He then says, " Know what i can do, for cash I can give you a quick fix" I said yes, I want a quick fix new drain installed. It's a 10-20 minute job. At this point I'm ready to kick him out, realizing I just been scammed for $100, and I just want him gone. Anyways he breaks off the old sink drain, tries to ghetto rig the pipe back on with thread tape, completely bending the old pipe. He says, "There it's fixed, no leaks." I turn the water on, shine my light on it, and say calmly, "Brother it's still leaking" he immediately retorts" Shit that's cuz you just knocked it and broke it." "I said I didn't touch your Mickey Mouse work" he says "Yes you did!" Now I'm pissed. "YOU CALLING ME A LIAR. GTFO! Get your tools and get the ef out my house!" He keeps arguing i had to tell him 20 times to get out and all he could do was be confrontational. He had typical predatory convict prison behavior.. scamming, lying, gaslighting. After a lot of yelling he finally leaves. I call dispatch, explain how angry I am and that I want a refund. Dispatcher says "So you want me to refund the $671.00?" WHAT??? " I said $671? I want my $100 back, I didn't authorize no $671!!" They had charged me $671 for estimated work I didn't agree to, for an invoice i never signed. They refunded the $671, but kept the $99. So the next day I bought the $20 sink drain,$5 plumber putty, a $5 pipe, and with my own tools it took me 2 hours to fix, that's only bcuz and hour of that was trying to unscrew the old part that he completely bent out of shape.
