As someone who grew up in South Toledo and used to walk by Lickity Split every day on the way to school for a number of years I feel a strong sense of nostalgia every time I drive by 20+ years later. Lickity Split is a time capsule of absolutely delicious Americana. The soft serve ice cream in a million different treatments is perfection, the indifferent high school aged staff is hilarious and the cheese burgers are to die for.
