I have known about Lizard Thicket for about 4 years now, but it has been about 3 years since I've purchased anything from there. I was in search of a specific dress for a photoshoot with my kids that was only 12 hours away. I came across one that I liked on their website, so I called the store to ask if they happened to have it. Taylor is the name of the young lady who answered my call. She took the time out of her shift to search their inventory and came across one of each size in their store. She asked me if I wanted her to place it on hold for me until I could come in try to it on. I was there within an hour, but was extremely disappointed when I showed up to find the only dress that fit me (in that style) had a huge hole in the back. Beyond repair! Taylor and the other young lady that were working asked me if the dress worked out and I showed them the hole. They could tell I was upset. Instead of just saying "oh I'm sorry!", those two girls worked together to dig through every rack in the store in hopes to find something that would be similar, as well as to my liking. I must have tried on 15 dresses, and I just didn't love any of them. Then I finally came across this blue dress you see in the photo. Not only were those wonderful young ladies helping me look for different dresses, but they were also there helping me zip up the dresses that I couldn't reach. Constantly checking up on me in the fitting rooms. I just can't believe the level of customer service that they provided me with on Friday night. I struggle with clothes shopping in general, but it's especially stressful when you're limited on time! I hope that the manger of this establishment sees this review and recognizes the two young ladies that were working that evening. Lizard Thicket in Mesa has absolutely wonderful employees and it's customers like me that are beyond grateful to have a place like this for shopping. Thank you ladies! read more
