My sisters came to visit from Pittsburgh and I took them to Luling Lavender Fields because it's just one of those places that's "Texas". Even though we were there just before the yearly blooms, we still walked the fields that carried the scent of lavender. The property is a lovely little farm that's really welcoming and enjoyable to walk around. Gorgeous views from all around. They've got a little shop where you can buy all things lavender from dried bouquets to room spray, oils, candles, anything you can imagine being made from and with lavender. read more
