We have passed this countless of times on the way to San Antonio and finally scheduled it in. It's located behind Love's and diagonal from Bucee's. To be honest, their bathrooms are quite clean despite being in a separate building (no AC and only 2 toilets in separate rooms, but there's a changing table in one) so I think we'd drop by here instead of Love's or Bucee's when on the road in the future. Less crowded and - most importantly - they have delicious ice cream that's reasonably priced and not too sweet. I got ahead of myself though. It's up a small gravel/rocky lane (we felt every one of them in our sedan) and you'll see a small field with lavender and lots of lavender colored items... a truck, bike, the store itself. It's all really nice but with the sweltering heat, I only did a quick walk to the closest plants and back. There are some flowers left but not much. When you get close to the store, there's a distinct scent of lavender in the air. It's wonderful! The store is small but cozy and charming. Purple is the color and most all of the things in there are lavender inspired or made out of it... essential oils, incense sticks, soaps, lotions, baking mixes, dried culinary lavender, lavender coffee, candles, napkins, stationery, seeds, vases, etc. They also have stones and crystals, wool dryer balls, dog treats - CBD items as well! Live lavender plants are outside the store so they'll be the first things you see aside from the flower bed in front. There's a chest freezer behind check out and that is where the ice creams are. I was offered some as I was checking out (I did end up getting more than I expected, haha) and I was excited. Unfortunately, they don't have ingredients lists for their ice cream (yet) so if you have food allergies, keep that in mind. However, out of the 5 flavors they have, 3 are lavender based and one of them is vegan (raspberry sorbet). At $4.50 per cup, I thought it was priced well. They are not filled to the brim and leveled off, but more like 2 to 3 healthy scoops per cup. We got the plain lavender and sorbet for two adults and two kids. The sorbet definitely used real fruit - refreshing and fruity! The lavender was creamy and just the right amount of lavender. A pale purple color. Absolutely delicious. Count us as fans! I'll definitely stop by again to support local when I run out of lavender. The two ladies there were friendly and answered our questions. I'm quite pleased with our first experience here. The only thing is the bumpy entrance (which I don't really fault them for since we're in a rural area and it's part of a ranch) and the lack of ingredients listed for the edibles. There are refrigerated canned drinks in the back that I wasn't familiar with, but I didn't get a very good look at them. Don't expect to spend more than 30 minutes here until the weather cools down. There are picnic tables under a large tree next to the lavender field and you're encouraged to stay to enjoy your ice cream (we stayed on the porch this time).

This place is perfectly located 5 minutes of of interstate 10. If you stop at Buc'ces for gas then you are practically here. They are open every day till 5pm. Lots of free parking and the entrance fee is FREE!! They have lots of areas to take cute pictures. They have a cute gift shop where they sell everything lavender. And they currently have an offer on YELP for a free lavender sachet. So go checkin to YELP. And get your free item.

Love love love lavender. The owners and staff were so nice and helpful. They have everything lavender you can imagine and greatly priced. Definitely try the lavender ice cream

1-10 in the background but you don't see it because the property (ranch) sits on a beautiful hill

The moment you step out of car you feel an amazing peace! Entering the store your shoulders drop and you just relax. the property is beautiful and a few yards from 1-10, truly a hidden gem. I will be returning in May to stock up on more product‍

Even though the fields were not all in full bloom, the smell of lavender was all around. As soon as we had walked out of our car we could smell lavender or something flower-ish. Smells so good! Many beautiful wildflowers were in bloom there. The store has many products... you guessed it... of Lavender, of course! I am excited to try the products we purchased once we get home... lavender extract, lavender nail polish, lavender lemonade, soaps and plants! The location was convenient as it is located right off the highway, just a minute or two from Buc-cee's gas station and right behind Loves Gas station. Which was nice for us - as it was not such a big detour from our travel plans. It is open all year long and we have been meaning to stop by for some time. If your traveling off of I10 and have some time - even 10-30mins, I do recommend stopping by and checking out the Lavender Farm in Lulling Texas. Oh and if you can, try the Lavender Ice Cream... I tried the chocolate-Lavender. I liked it.

I love this little shop! They have so many different types of lavender products, local art, handmade soaps, several different kinds of lavender plants and homemade lavender ice cream! I had the lavender peach ice cream which has chunks of fresh Fredericksburg peaches, and it was so good! My friend had the lavender chocolate ice cream and it was interesting and yummy! The lavender field was kind of sparse. I am not sure if that was due to the time of year (May) or the freeze a couple of years ago. But, I think the shop itself makes it worth it. I even bought a lavender plant!

Having a party, needed a lavender garnish to make it extra cute. This was perfect!

Tried the Lavender Ice Cream and the whole family was a big fan. Having a Bridgerton Party and this lavender was perfect for a garnish

Lovely shop out about one hour from San Antonio. It's worth the drive just to take in the welcoming lavender scent on a sunny afternoon. I love their lavender hair serum and sinus bath salts. The Cbd lip balms are especially soothing. My daughter and I enjoy all of their products. She wears their chakra bracelet every day. They are now open to come inside with a limit of 6 people at a time. Gloves and masks are required and gloves are provided at the door. There's a lot to touch and see so I appreciate their rules during this pandemic. I can't live without my lavender and I'm just so happy to support this local family-run business.

A new one year old family own location that I saw an interstate bill board advertisement for on my way to Houston. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Budget friendly on the items and well kept and clean. It's sits across from Bucess in Luling, TX adjacent to the Loves Truck stop. Definitely will stop by again. I'm curious what family oriented outdoor activities they will have in future to bring my family out to.

My family and I were camping at Palmetto State Park, and we went exploring. We decided to visit Luling Lavender Field. It is such a charming, quaint farm. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming. We didn't find the prices in the shop to be too expensive. They sell homemade ice cream at $4.50 a cup, and unfortunately the cups weren't full. There are several picture opportunities around the farm as well! We will definitely be back!

Cute place to stop by, especially on the way back to Houston. It's across the road from Bucee's, so if you're pumping gas or doing a rest stop there anyways, it's worth checking it out. They have a store and outdoor tables overlooking the field. Their store has a wide selection of items, including potted lavender plants to bring home. I ended up buying ground lavender coffee to bring try. Last but not least, the lavender ice cream is highly recommended! We tried the regular and chocolate one(like the regular one but with swirls of chocolate). Both were great, very florally, as expected, but refreshing!

    Great lavender/ lemon cookies.

Smells amazing! Tons of choices. Things to wear, eat, put on and drink! Even some goodies for your dogs. The cookies and toffee are delicious. Great selection of essential oils, soap, lotions and more. It's fun and everything is natural/ organic. Lavender plants for sale too. The 2 ladies were very nice and knew their products. Very reasonable prices. Who doesn't love see lavender field!? Fun stop while in the area for sure.

I was like, "Um, ok, what's that about?" I got home and looked it up. I found out it was Texan company. Then I decided I wanted to visit the biggest Buc-ee's in the Lone Star State. We landed in San Antonio and rented a car. Thankfully it didn't have a California license plate. We drove to Luling on our way to Austin. We pulled into the Buc-ee's parking lot. We saw the gas prices. Gas in Texas is more affordable than Washington State. Took a photo with the metal critter in front of the entrance then made our way into the store. Spacious, busy. Bathroom was clean. We picked up some brisket sandwiches and some sodas. Food is more affordable in Texas. We also bought some souvenirs to take back home including a red shirt with the beaver.

Buc-ee's is known for spotless cleaning, smiling faces, fast paced and good energy. Went there…read moretoday at 7:40pm and it wasn't too good. Restrooms had two hand soap dispensers completely broken, paper towel in the corner on the floors, soda station a mess and not wiped, slushie station a mess, coffee sauces out, empty bottles sitting there, coffee machines dusty with beans all over. Come on Buc-ee's. Is the normal standard not there anymore. No more wow factor anymore? Or getting too big that procedure is being lost in the process? Didn't look like people were working and the ones who were seemed very unhappy and not guest focused. Coming from someone in management for the past 15 years. Maybe it's just this Buc-ee's that needs work?
