I've used Mac Tonic a few times previously. The last time they worked on one of my Macs they didn't plugin the bluetooth card all the way which I had to do myself. No harm no foul, that's an easy job but you would think they would bench test machines once the repair is completed. They obviously do not. I needed a new machine to have a memory upgrade installed. I was told it took around 10 minutes and the labor COST was INCLUDED in the parts cost IN WRITING. I then am told the Labor is not free and will be a hundred dollars. The memory quote was already a hundred twenty five dollars over current market rate. This is simply bait and switch. If Mac Tonic is willing to put things in writing and then try and change the repair cost then that tells me everything I need to know about them.
