You won't be disappointed here. If you want huge portions of tacos, especially the seafood type tacos, this old place hits the spot in Ensenada. Very casual street style vibes. Not formal and you won't feel like it's a restaurant. Excellent customer service in English as needed. Love all the hardworking staffs. Feels like an airy food court, but service is provided. Menu looks great. Prices have gone up, but it's still worth visiting. I can see car dealership locations along the same block down the street. Makukos has been around for many years serving travelers, especially from America. Whatever you want, your server will help you with it and also make good recommendations. Grab your own salsa and sauces at the condiments salsa bar. Nothing fancy here, but foods are definitely delicious and huge in portions. One big taco is enough. Everything else is good for sharing. There's certainly good value and service for the prices here. Tables are spacious with plenty of seats. There used to be a lot more people here, but Ensenada seems to be on a decline for tourism lately. Special tostadas was very good. Generous. Makuko single taco was good enough and fulfilling.
