I considered not posting this review about Dr. Paul because he is a very kind and compasssionate doctor.  However, kindness and compassion do not equate to skill or a successful surgical outcome.  I share this, so others can make an informed decision. I wish I'd been able to read a review about Dr. Paul, before having him work on me. See PHOTOS Below. The surgery Dr. Paul performed on me butchered my eyes and pretty much destroyed my life.  He performed  the WRONG surgery. He was supposed to do what he calls a "Princess Lift". Instead, he did a Lower Blepharoplasty. Why he did that is beyond me because I had absolultely NO fat under my eyes.  (A  Lower Bleph is where they remove the fat under your eyes)  Any average person could easily see that there was absolutely no fat under my eyes.  For a trained plastic surgeon to look at my eyes and then go ahead with a Lower Blepharoplasty is astounding to me.  The only reason I can think of for why he did this surgery, was for the money.  As a result of the botched surgery, for the past 2 years I've had to wear surgical tape on my eyes just so my lower lids are able to get close to closing properly. (They still have a gap, even with the tape). Because of this, my eyes are constantly irriitated and they water 24/7. I've now gone through 7 revision surgeries to fix this problem created by Dr. Paul,( 5 of which were done by Dr. Paul) and were a complete failure. 2 of the surgeries, performed by an ocular plastic surgeon have resulted in a partial fix, but I still have to go back for one more surgery. I still have to wear surgical tape and my eyes still water constantly. Because I work thorugh Zoom calls with clients, I wasn't able to work for a year and 1/2 due to the way I looked.  In addition to going through this, right before I had the revision surgery, I was handed liability paperwork to sign. They gave it to me, literally  5 minutes before they took me in for surgery. I had repeatedly asked for any paperwork that needed to be signed, prior to surgery for several weeks before the operation. I requested this paperwork several times and was ignored. It would appear this is done on purpose to prevent patients from being able to thoroughy read it, or have an attorney read through the waiver.  On the waiver, it stated that I would not contact the Nevada State Board of Medicine.  This is actually illegal for doctors to have you sign. (Photo below of this signed paperwork) The amount of money this has cost me, due to consulations, revision surgery and lost work is now in excess of $180,000.   In addition to the eye surgery, Dr. Paul also did a lip lift for me. After 3 surgeries to get this procedure right, I gave up. My lips are still off center.  There are some surgeons who are excellent at doing surgery. There are also surgeons who are true artists and understand the symmetry of the face and body and what would enhance it. From my experiences with Dr. Paul, my opinion is that Dr. Paul is neither. As an example With the lip lift he did on me, I had the most absurd outcome. He only lifted the very center of my lips (about 1" wide). My lips looked like a comic book version of an upside down "V". He had to do 2 revisions and finally, they turned out better, but they still remain off-center on my face. They aren't centered under my nose at all. I've changed my  name to protect my privacy.   The surgery I mentioned was performed at Smith Plastic Surgery where Dr. Paul was practicing at the time. read more
