I really wanted to love this place. I've heard many good things both online and from locals that Maple was the place to go.
Stepping into the brightly lit shop, the smell of baked goods are very inviting. We grabs a number of pastries including mini fruit tarts, pistachio cake and cannolis. The cannoli was great! Crispy yet soft shells with a fluffy dense cream. Wonderful! Then one by one, each pastry after the next just seemed bland. It tasted like sugar glaze , but that was it. Nothing to write home about.
There is also hot bar, but the dried lasagna didn't seem to pique my interest. Leave the rest, take the cannoli. read more
