Master Hu is honestly the best Hunan-style restaurant I've had in Irvine so far!
The flavors are very authentic. Even though these dishes look similar in color, each one tastes completely different and unique.
We ordered the Stir-Fried Pork with Green Peppers, Peppercorn Chicken, and Stir-Fried Intestines -- every single dish was amazing. I'm literally drooling again just writing this review
One tip: after you finish the meat, definitely pack the leftover green peppers to go. They're incredible mixed with rice later -- super fragrant and satisfying.
The only thing I'm still waiting for is Dry Pot Fish Roe. That's one of my favorite Hunan dishes, and I really hope they'll add it to the menu someday! read more
