I really like that Maximum Zen offers gluten free and vegan options. The service was fantastic and Donna was very personable and pleasant. The cupcake and carrot cake was absolutely delicious. I was really excited and thought I'd love the lamington because I'm coconut obsessed. However, I'm not sure why but the lamington had a coffee taste, which I didn't expect. This was a little disappointing. I am not a coffee drinker and don't enjoy the taste. I did try two bites to make sure I wasn't mistaken. The seating area and room is absolutely lovely and peaceful.
