So far, I'm into week 4 of Maya's Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) for Winter 2013. I've really been excited every week to receive the wonderful veggies and fruits.
If you are not familiar with a CSA and how it work, here's a down and dirty explanation. You pay a certain amount of money in advance for several months of veggies each week. In this case, Maya's farm charges about $300 for 12 weeks of a whole heck of a lot of veggies that are certified organic. You support your local farmers and you know where your food is coming from.
I recommend that you swing by the farm and take a stroll around. You might see Maya. I've met her and I think she's a very nice person.
I will update this review with more info but I think the pictures that I post of Maya's Farm CSA speak for themselves.
My only wishlist with Maya's farm is to have a half-basket. My small family and I can't finish all the veggies in one week. read more
