Came in during the middle of the week for lunch - it was pretty quiet but that's fine by me. Everything is painted white and looks clean - space can be a little tight if you got a larger party. The husband/wife duo are super friendly and attentive. They give complimentary hummus and olive tapenade with pita - that humus is so good I could literally eat a bucket of it. It took a hot minute for me to get my kabuli pulao - which chef wife apologized for which I wasn't mad about. It's a super hearty dish and super flavorful with green sauce and yogurt you can dip your lamb and rice into. Overall would love to see them expand on more Afghan cuisine! I know they're trying to get folks who are more familiar with gyros and falafel but I'm going for the afghan food I can't find too much of out here on Long Island! read more
