This review is long overdue. I refinanced with McGlone/Homestead last June of 2020. I had a great experience and everything seemed to be good until I had an issue this year in my home. My family and I unfortunately had a water leak in our home that damaged the first floor. When I went to file an insurance claim I was told I did not have insurance?! After research it was discovered that my loan officer never followed up to take care of it, my money sat in escrow for the insurance to be paid but it was never taken care of. They will not do anything to help us and we have been living on a concrete slab with our kitchen and drywall torn apart for 4 months now. It has been extremely stressful and taxing on our family and a lot of work dealing with a lawyer, which is far from over. I will do everything to keep warning everyone about dealing with this company moving forward. I'm left with $50,000 in damage because of their error and they are not stepping up to help. read more
