My wife and I have been going to Meldgie's in Point Judith for 3 years but on our recent 4th of July weekend trip we decided we'd hit a different location each day. This was the second day and we only ordered off the specials board. My wife got the strawberry shortcake french toast which used biscuits as the toast (she usually gets the biscuits and gravy so this was up her alley) and she loved it. Unfortunately they were sold out of her hash brown patties. I got the jalapeno popper omelet which was filled with cream cheese and bacon and was awesome, but the buffalo home fries were the best of the three orders I got this weekend. We also split the S'mores Pancakes which were essentially average chocolate chip pancakes with mini marshmallows on it that weren't really melted. I think there was supposed to be some sort of graham cracker element as well, but I think they may have forgotten it on ours. read more
