The other day, I wondered why I had NEVER been to this BBQ franchise spot. So, I randomly was driving pass one, & I decided to go in to see what they were hittin on...that's it. . Where I am: Mission BBQ . Location Reviewed: 5506 Cherrywood Ln., Greenbelt M.D. . Menu Includes: Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Sausage, Salmon, Baby back Ribs, Spare Ribs, Burgers, Pulled & Chopped Sandwiches, Salads, Slaw, Fries, Green Beans, Mac n Cheese, Baked Beans, Potato, & Broccoli Salad, Brownies, Pudding, & Beverages. . Items Reviewed: Their Half n Half (ice tea/lemonade-came with the meal). STAMP!! Surprisingly tasty!! House made always makes a difference!! Their Black Plate Special (their Juicy Lucy cheddar stuffed burger, with lettuce, tomato, pickles, & bbq sauce $10). DECENT. A tad bit flavorless, & dry. A hunk of meat with cheese in the middle...that's it. Their 3 meat Sampler (with baby back ribs, pulled chicken, carvers choice brisket, Mac n cheese, baked beans with brisket, cornbread, the drink & their chocolate pudding $26.49). The Ribs...DECENT. There was more fat than meat. But it was seasoned good. The Chicken...DECENT. It tasted like it was sitting for a while. Edible, because I drowned it in sauce. The Brisket...DELICIOUS. The lean parts of the brisket were smokey, and a tad tasty. The Beans...LIKE THAT!! Well done, well seasoned, with chunks of brisket in it!! The Mac n Cheese...PASS. Null & Void of flavor. The Cornbread...NAH. It was crumbly dry. The Pudding...LIKE THAT!!Tasted home made, with Oreos, & cream on top!!
