Came across this restaurant on accident so we decided to try it. When we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly face and told to sit where we liked. The server brought us menus right away. They have a variety of ceviches and also dishes that we've never heard of so they required an explanation which our server kindly provided. We went with the lomo saltado and bistec a lo pobre. Though both had great flavor, my husband said the meat in his lomo saltado was a little tough. My steak and egg dish (served with fries and plantains) was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly and still juicy and tender. My daughter ordered their hot dog and fries meal. She expected a bun to come with it but it came with the hot dog sliced up and served on top of fries. She said it was delicious and she was happy even without the bun. They were out of desserts except for the lucuma ice cream. My daughter decided to try it. It was a large portion so we all shared one serving. It was refreshing and not overly sweet and turns out lucuma is good for you. (Yes, we googled because we weren't familiar with this fruit). The table next to us had a very large ceviche dish that looked amazing. We definitely want to try that next time. Our server was great. We will definitely return to try other dishes and bring some friends with us as well. read more
