Stopped by here for dinner after a 6-hour drive to Moab because we just wanted some quick cheap food.
Serving size was decent but the quality was just so so. We love eating out and good quality food so you can tell you only get what you pay for here.
I ordered the Kokopelli Chicken Dinner (grilled chicken breast seasoned, topped with melted cheddar and green chili sauce). The chicken was just okay. Not too much flavoring in there or anything. It was cooked okay as well. Nothing special to note. It didn't have that nice charring of a grilled chicken or anything of that sort. Quite a thin breast piece as well. Also that green chili sauce ... I don't know what the great specialty of it is because it was not so rich in flavor or anything of that sort. I was expecting something that actually look like green sauce but this was kind of a brown sauce and there was no wow factor at all!
For the sides I asked for some steamed broccoli instead of the bread so they definitely delivered on that. The side salad was decent with that dressing.
For the potatoes I asked for the signature Sweetwater Potatoes (Skin-on fried potatoes, seasoned with green peppers, green onions, bacon bits, and blend of spices, topped with melted cheddar cheese) - These were actually really good. Super greasy but a good flavor. Good amount of bacon and green peppers and cheese was not to abundant. If only they were less greasy. I would have enjoyed them a lot more.
My fiance go out the Chicken Smothered Burrito (fajita chicken, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, smothered green chili sauce, topped with lettuce and pico de gallo). He definitely enjoyed his meal; said he actually loved it, and finished the entire plate! I tasted a little and it was good. read more
