While visiting in-laws 90th BD in SoCal and preparing to leave the hydraulic jacks would not retract, would extend further, but not retract.
Called HWH and lady suggested bleeding one of the valves, made a mess but jacks retracted. She also said issue was the shuttle valve, so for about $100 had one shipped to the in-laws.
Wanted a pro to help install but not a mobile pro available in SoCal. Weeks out. Bought more ATF due to spillage when bleeding the valve and managed to stay another couple weeks, making an oily mess.
So, back in Sandy, UT called Mobile RV Pro. Tech Colby came out in a couple days and had the valve replaced. No leaks. Next went to test and jacks didn't act right. Found that I had left the valve flippers in wrong position when bleeding. Colby figured it out and I'm happy now with jacks working, no mess, and can now extend the big slide safely. read more
