Delayed review from a visit in January 2025.
PARKING: free parking at the Civic Center parking garage nearby, in front of the restaurant, or in the neighborhoods.
SPACE: Outdoor seating only. There are heaters next to all the tables, but wear a warm outfit as well!
FOOD: We got the vegetable Homemade Tamale, Pesto Ravioli, Chaufa de Mariscos, Half Roasted Baby Chicken, and Macho. Complimentary Sangria, Peruvian bubbles, and tea (from the manager) and flan (for my mom's birthday).
SERVICE: I had originally booked a lunch reservation but wanted to change to a dinner slot and couldn't find an available time that worked, so I cancelled my reservation. The manager noticed my cancellation and texted me, offering to help make a dinner reservation. She even mentioned complimentary sangria/Peruvian bubbles for our visit. I was totally surprised by the message, but grateful that we would be able to celebrate my mom's birthday at Coya after all. Our fantastic server, Jackie, was very attentive throughout the evening and did a great job. She made my mom's birthday dinner a wonderful night. Thank you!
Highly recommend checking out this cute Peruvian restaurant. Great food, hospitality, and ambience (especially on a warm summer evening :) I imagine). read more
