Fabulous campground!
We recently spent 2 nights here while on a road trip through the area. There are 3 loops, each with their own restrooms and trash receptacles. We were in loop A, but walked all 3 loops multiple times. The grounds, including our restrooms and the main restrooms between loops A&B, were very clean. Loop C does have some sites within a burn zone, but the whole area is gorgeous. Each site seemed to be equipped with a food box, tent pad, and fire pit.
We loved that there were multiple trails to take directly from the campground, as well as one to the visitors center. We took advantage and completed them all: Skagit River Loop, Rock Shelter Trail, Sterling Munro Boardwalk, Trail of the Cedars, as well as the Gorge Power House to Ladder Creek Falls. All of them are fabulous, and there are linking trails in between.
The campground is in a great location, with easy access to so much the National Park has to offer. We had an amazing first experience here, and would definitely love to stay here again! read more
