There are so many positive things I have to say about my visit today. I'm going to start by saying that HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN VACAVILLE! I've been to a few optometrists in the area and appreciate the level of professionalism, service, product and value this location has to offer. I was originally going to go to my usual eye doctor but she had no open slots available and basically told me she cannot help me because my prescription was out of date and I'd have to wait and schedule an appointment. No one likes to be told they cannot be helped, so it was on to the next. I never realized stumbling upon these awesome reviews and giving Dr. Kabir's office a call would be the next best thing! Literally. When I called to see if they had any openings I was kindly told by the receptionist Charlene, they had a few! *stoked* I made an appointment and was set to go. Might I add this is on a busy Friday afternoon so you could understand how relieved I was upon receiving the great news . I got there in time to sign two quick forms and was then greeted by Dr. Kabir. Through out the entire visit he was very patient, understanding, informative and expressed genuine concern for my needs. The eye exam went by rather quickly, and it's amazing how much he knew about what to recommend for my eyes. He threw in two trial pair of contacts from different brands, two contact lenses cases and a travel sized cleaning solution! Then came the funnest part of all! "Eye" went crazy trying to find the perfect pair of glasses. Crazy in the most wonderful way possible!! I felt like I was in eye candy heaven. They carry the widest variety designer frames I have ever seen in an optometry office. To name a few that I was gagging over: Valentino, Versace, Prada, Karl Lagerfeld, Gucci, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and many many others you can spend all day in here trying to narrow your choices down to one. So good luck with that. I ended up getting a sassy pair of black Versace frames with gold tone cone studs near the hinges. Ugh, I cannot wait till they're in. And cannot wait to drill another hole in the bank to get the other glasses I've been "eyeing" and trying on. This has got to be the longest review I've written, but it just goes to show that they are a set of wonderful people who genuinely care about helping you get what your eyes deserve.
