I may have a screw loose, but I love small hardware stores with loose screws LOL. Seriously, Nutter Hardware has one entire aisle with loose wood screws, sheet metal screws, machine screws, nuts, in brass, steel and you name it. No blister packs anywhere! Not just nuts and bolts, they also have a huge paint department, Honda snow blowers, big ceramic smoker grills, rock salt and on and on. Service is the best part of the surviving little-box hardware guys. As soon as you walk thru the door here somebody asks what you need and points you to the right place. This saves so much time and frustration it's just amazing. Anyone remember when Zettler hardware was in the middle of Kingsdale? Ok I've dated myself :) it's great to have a h/w store right in the center of Arlington again. read more
