absolutely the best wind engine in Edgewood Washington!! located on the main drag near to the East Pierce Fire & Rescue Station at 24th Street and Meridian Avenue the wind engine sits atop a small hill inviting towns people and tourists alike to stop for a look and to pick up a short stack of souvenir picture postcards. this pumper was constructed about 1902 to provide water for Pete Nyholm and his neighbors; rumor has it that the building arrived at this site after some local festivities went slightly awry... ;-) read more
