The sushi here is decent, plus the location is amazing... It's literally across the street from my neighborhood! This time around we ordered our sushi for pick up and when I arrived, I still had to wait about 10 minutes for it to be ready. Honestly, I'm totally fine with that. I'd rather know the sushi literally just left the chef knife rather than it's sitting around. I'm pretty basic when it comes to sushi. I ordered a caterpillar roll and the El Dorado roll. The caterpillar roll is crab meat, rolled in rice and topped with avocado and unagi sauce. Super basic, but delicious. I've never had the El Dorado roll before, but I loved it. This roll is huge and filled with soft shell crab, avocado, spicy minced tuna, and topped with ahi tuna on top. The ahi tuna had a firm texture and tasted very fresh. This was my favorite roll of the evening. This place is pretty tiny so if you plan to dine in, make sure to get here early for prime seating. Either in the dining room or at the sushi bar. Just belly up, sip a beer, and watch the chefs do their magic. read more
