Getting a regular MRI can be daunting for some people. Those machines are fairly small and that cage-like apparatus that goes over your face can be claustrophobic. After the stress of getting regular MRIs every year, I asked the doctor for any another options. He mentioned Open MRI in Santa Ana. I made sure to get my appointment before Christmas. When I got to my appointment, Billy was my technician. He walked me through the process. He was patient and thoughtful. Billy also made sure to let me know how much time was left during the MRI. The open MRI seemed shorter than a regular MRI. I was also allowed to pick out what music I wanted to help drown out some of the annoying noise that takes place during the imaging process.
