I went to simonmed imaging fir a cardiac scan thru Hale. The receptionist billed me even though the computer said not to as it was paid by Hale. She still charged me a 100 dollars. Now everyone realizing its an error but corporate wont return my calls now saying they paid me on the 3rd of August which is not true. So im out my money its not the end of the world but it's the principal of it. The poor customer service at corporate level is astonishing. Never again! read more

This is SIMONMED IMAGING- Santa Ana.. If I could leave -1000 I would... referred by my lawyers and having to transfer from Beverly Hills to Santa Ana, for machine purposes and let me jst tell you it's a big difference in the customer care direction. When I scheduled my appt over the phone I specified that the person I would have bring me because I have to take anxiety meds to go in the machine as I am claustrophobic, is not off of work until 3:30 so there's absolutely no way I would schedule myself at 4. I told the scheduler 4:15... I get to my appt at 4:20 I walk up to the desk hand her my passport tell her my name and say "I'm sorry I'm late, my name is S****** D**** & my appt was at 4:15" with a big ass smile. BRENDA RODRIGUEZ says: "you're late" I said "I know I jst said that" She says "no your appt was at 4pm" I said "no I specifically asked for 4:15" She says "well here it says 4pm" She then proceeds to pick up a piece of paper and points "see this says 4pm" Now any literate person can read the situation and clearly see she's being a smart ass.. instead of trying ease the situation as there's clearly been a mix up, she was very unprofessional and as I'm already terrified of going into the machine, I'm immediately frustrated with her behavior.. My response: "idc what that paper says I requested a 4:15 appt" followed by a second mri because I had 2 scheduled so even if the first was missed why not go see if I can be seen still instead of going back n forth with me about a misunderstanding... UNPROFESSIONAL Dare I say it's because I was black but ima hold grace there. So I tell her watch her attitude and don't get snippy with me. She goes to the back to talk to the dr and the dr comes out and says she will see me after her other two patients are done.. I said "I thought so" with a smile and sigh of relief because Brenda was making it seem like I couldn't be seen at all.. so I tell the dr and I point dead at her "yall need to check her attitude" So Brenda now has to give me the forms she should have been given me when I walked in. Brenda comes back out ask me to come get the papers but she's like chuckling under her breath and smiling trying to avoid eye contact for whatever reason so I asked her "what's so funny?" I walk back to my seat My mom, who was with me tells me to calm down and I say to MY MOTHER "I'm not trying to be but she was being rude for nothing" and jokingly while laughing said something to my mother.. I filled out my papers and Brenda walks to the back to go tattle on me because she clearly starts and is bad at handling customer escalation.. she lies and said that I threatened her.. so now doc Andrea comes back outside to say "she can't see me" and didn't look like she was going to explain so I said "why? because Brenda went and tattled on me?" She says no because you threatened her.. never threatened her because I wasn't even talking to her. If you hate being nice to ppl, or ppl of other races and being a problem solver then maybe you shouldn't be in Customer Service.. it's truly that simple.. Brenda jst cost yall some money. read more

Currently known as SimonMed Imaging, this location was much more efficient than their Torrance location. The staff is very professional and appointments are kept on time unlike Torrance. If you need to use SimonMed imaging, it's worth the long drive to come to this location for your MRI. read more

I would give 0 star if I could. had a really frustrating experience with this imaging center. The facility is rundown with long wait times. It took over 4 weeks to get the result of my MRI scan after multiple follow-ups. Yet when the report was available, it was not compared to prior images as requested. Multiple efforts were made to follow up again for the addendum and nothing. No one calls, no one follows up, and every time I try to reach someone, I either get ignored or told "someone will call you back" -- which never happens. For a medical facility, this level of communication is completely unacceptable. Patients shouldn't have to chase down their own results. I won't be coming back here and definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

Getting a regular MRI can be daunting for some people. Those machines are fairly small and that cage-like apparatus that goes over your face can be claustrophobic. After the stress of getting regular MRIs every year, I asked the doctor for any another options. He mentioned Open MRI in Santa Ana. I made sure to get my appointment before Christmas. When I got to my appointment, Billy was my technician. He walked me through the process. He was patient and thoughtful. Billy also made sure to let me know how much time was left during the MRI. The open MRI seemed shorter than a regular MRI. I was also allowed to pick out what music I wanted to help drown out some of the annoying noise that takes place during the imaging process. The MRI was a fairly easy process. The larger machine made getting an MRI much less claustrophobic. I'm so glad I was referred to Open MRI for my last imaging! read more

Had an appointment showed up 15 min early as asked. Took off work and so did my husband to drive me. Got there, the receptionist looked at me like why was I there. Apparently the mri broke and I didn't receive a call a text for cancellation nothing. Whole day wasted. Receptionist could care a less and didn't even offer to reschedule. Rude as hell. read more

I had to get an MRI for my shoulder. I made an appointment at a hospital. I was asked if I was claustrophobic I answered no. When I went in and saw the machine, I was not sure i could do it. The tech was extremely patient and helped me as best he could. The noise was loud with ear plugs, I panicked, squeezed the ball and he moved me out. We tried 3 times. I was embarrassed and had never had that feeling. I left and my Dr gave me a prescription for anxiety. I then heard about an Open MRI and called Open Imaging. Systems, There machine is much roomier and shorter machine. I still took the prescribed medicine but had anxiety again. Billy was wonderful! he worked with me. His machine is faster only 15 minutes vs 30 and you can listen to music. Billy cranked up the music and told me I only had 5 songs and its over. I got thru it and could not be more thankful to Open Systems Imaging staff! Thank YOU! read more

Just finished having an MRI of my Lumbar Spine. I was greeted by the front office gal who was lovely. She answered all my questions in a friendly manner. When it was time for me to have my MRI I was escorted to the back area. The changing room is literally right through the doorway on the left. There is no door or curtain separating the main waiting area and the changing room/back area. So when I was in my gown the people in the main waiting area could actually see me!! It was such a lack of privacy. I was taken back and felt extremely uncomfortable. Then I asked the Tech if I could use the Restroom prior to my MRI. He said that there was no Restroom in the Office. I said that this needs to be explained to the patients prior to entering the back area. The Tech actually said I could go to the Restroom in my gown. The Restroom wasn't even in the Office. It was outside down the walkway!! This lacks such office decorum and privacy. Who tells their patients to go outside, and I mean outdoors, and walk in a gown that is open in the back to use the restroom??? It's beyond my comprehension... I felt that the whole Office was antiquated. The suspended ceiling was rusting in many area's and literally leaking water. I have concerns about the MRI machine. My Copay is a hefty one and I hope that the Equipment is reliable. I feel concerned about this. I came to this Facility because my Doctor recommended them. I would never go to Open Systems Imaging again. The Owner of this business needs to invest money into updating his equipment and Office in general. The very least is put a door on the back area where you change into a gown and have to wait for your MRI, so the front waiting area patients can't see you in this vulnerable state. The Owner could also step up and have a sign made that there are no Restrooms in the Changing/MRI Area. I am so disappointed in this Appointment. I usually go to Imaging Partners in Orange, which has State of the Art Equipment and is a beautiful Facility with Restrooms, doors and privacy. I was referred to this facility for a lumbar MRI. When Marisol called to schedule the appointment she described the machine and how the process would work, after I informed her I am extremely claustrophobic. The office is very nice, very clean, easy to find. Mark was the young man who did the MRI and he couldn't have been more nice and calming. We talked for a few minutes, he explained everything to me. Told me he would put me in the machine to make sure I was comfortable before he started so that I could make sure I would be okay. He asked what type of music I wanted, explained that the machine would be very loud but assured me there was no pain involved. After every scan, he checked in with me to make sure I was okay and he told me how long the next scan was going to be, and how many more there were. What a wonderful experience everyone at this facility provided! I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Open System Imaging! I was booking the appointment for my Mom who has claustrophobia. Billy was so helpful when I first called, explaining exactly how their equipment was set up so I could ensure that Mom would be able to manage the experience. And the imaging tech, Andrea, was so sweet talking my Mom through the whole process. They made it possible for Mom to complete the MRI she needed with as little stress as possible. I had to get an MRI and this location worked for my schedule. The staff was very accommodating and nice. They worked with the referring physician to take care of insurance. I haven't had an MRI before but was told that their tube is a little larger than most. I liked that I could wear my normal clothing in the machine and that they played music and made the experience as comfortable as possible. The MRI tech explained everything and they got me a disc to bring to the doctor in a timely manner. The building is a bit set back, so I wound up having to make a few U-turns to find it (it's next to the building with a gym, but not in it). There's plenty of parking on site. read more

Today I got an MRI done and had an awesome experience, the girl a the the front desk is very friendly and the Dr was also amazing.

Today with the help of Billy Mohn, Operations Manager at Open Systems Imagining, I was able to conquer my greatest fear! I was told by my doctor that I needed an MRI of my brain with contrast! I immediately told him I didn't think that I would be able to do it due to my feelings of claustrophobia! I knew I needed to have it done so I searched open MRI machines on the internet! I walked in without an appointment expressing my fears and was greeted warmly by the staff! Billy Mohn asked if I wanted to see the machine and walked me through all the steps to alleviate my fears! I made the appointment and felt comfortable enough not needing to take the Valium my doctor prescribed to go through with the imaging! Throughout the MRI I was guided by Billy who reassured me that I was doing well and was almost done! I found happiness after the fear and would highly recommend Open System Imaging to all! If ever I needed an MRI or any type of imaging done I would most definitely have it done here! read more

I've been here several times in the past few years and have always had a good experience. My daughter recently needed an MRI and I was helped by Natalie. She went above and beyond to help make sure we had our authorization in place from our doctors office (who was dropping the ball). She called our specialist office several times to inquire about the authorization and also called me to keep me informed. My specialist office didn't even do that!
