So excited that Ox9 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodle just opened in Berkeley! I used to have to go outside of Berkeley whenever I was craving good hand pulled noodles, so I'm really happy we finally have a spot like this here. I ordered the Beef with Chinese pickle Noodle Soup (their recommended dish), and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a deep, rich flavor. The hand pulled noodles were fresh and perfectly chewy, and the beef was tender and well-seasoned. The portion size was generous and very satisfying. The restaurant itself feels clean and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For a newly opened place, they're already doing an amazing job. Definitely a great addition to Berkeley, and I'll be coming back! read more
