Good traditional breakfast spot. They didn't try to get too experimental with their menu items and because of this we got exactly what we were hoping for. It's super close to the ferry building on Avalon and near the water so quite nice to get the ocean smell and sounds through the open shutter doors during breakfast.
Corned beef hash: Exact diner stereotype corn beef hash in a good way. It didn't have bellpeppers, avocado, or odd fusion spices, it was the classic corned beef hash that we wanted. The hashbrowns were a bit soft and not as crispy as we like it on the outside but the corned beef had an awesome crunch layer.
Pancakes: With bacon and scrambled eggs on the side, kids loved it and finished it with no complaints.
Biscuits and gravy: Covered in a heavy handed dose of gravy which was fine for us. We used it to dip the wheat bread in so more bang for the buck. read more
