Not so sure you are allowed to review own business, but after several reviews that pertain to my "integrity", that is where I draw the line! I am the only groomer at Pawprint Essentials + I only groom one dog at at time + I only groom 5 to 6 dogs per day (small breeds only). Not 10 to 12 like many groomer do. Why? Because I want to spend time with my pet guests + make them feel relaxed + comfortable not like cattle "get them in - get them out". It is so sad that a client will take to bashing you + your good name when THEY are the ones that caused the grooming relationship to end. Case in point. Last negative review was left because after we called the client the Saturday before her pet's appointment + left a message to call to cofirm (as we do with every client for the upcoming week) + we texted her the day before requesting that she confirm the appointment(as we do with every client) neither the phone call or the text message were confirmed. She came in but had the wrong time so I already had a pet guest I was grooming. She was infuriated with ME when I have policies in place to double confirm appointments. But the bashing began. "I am not a good groomer, I didn't do what they ask. I am all about the money." None of this is true. For the months they came to me there was never a question as to the quality of grooming for their pet. Since I only groom 5 to 6 pet guests per day I have a waiting list so it is extremely important that clients confirm their pet's appointment. We are very clear about this with all our clients. WE NEED YOU TO CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT. Whether by a return phone call if we have to leave a message or a simple "C" to confirm by text when the programed remider is sent the day prior to their pet's appointment. Why is it so easy to take the time to write a negative review even when the issue was the clients, but rarely do we see positive reviews about a service business, a retail business or a restraurant? I take my reputation in the community very seriously + my committment to give the best care possible to your pets while they are with me. I, too, have a little yorkie + I treat your pets exactly how I treat her. Like the awesome, amazing, loving compansions they truly are. read more
