Pearson Eyecare Group does not care
I had my family try this business out and it was a mistake
They were not professional at all
The only one in the office that was helpful was the optician
I had three appointments at this office so Why did I have to explain each time I came in in front of other patients why I was there. Don't they keep records
On my third visit, got another prescription for eye
drops and finally got tested for glasses. Went to pick up my prescription OMG it cost $1300.The pharmacy told us to call the doctor and get a different prescription. We called the doctor's office but no one got back to us until the next day. The office manager said that was the only choice, 1300 dollar eye drops. He said we could get a coupon and he said he was going to look for a different pharmacy.
There was no other prescription offered just this 1300 dollar choice. On my first two visits I got prescription eye drops for only 20 dollars so it is understandable why we were shocked was this 1300 price and the pharmacy said there was other prescriptions available at a lower cost
So we waited ,until finally we called back. The girl we talked to when we called back did not care about my concerns but was only interested in the name of the person who we talked to, but we did not know who that was.Well from that response I knew that I was not going to get the help I needed so I told her I wanted to cancel my glasses that I ordered. She said she would have the manager call me. So the manager called back and now we know we had been talking to the manager from the beginning. All he wanted was our credit card number to give us a refund for the glasses, not even an apology or how can I help you.
Most medical office's if they cared would have called us back to follow up with us when they knew we had a problem with that 1300 dollar prescription. We did ask for another prescription but their answer was that was it. The pharmacy did say there were options but the office did not want to help us with that. Isn't it the manager's job to help solve problems with their patients. So what I am left with
No glasses
No 20 dollar eye drops like I received from first two visits
No call from the optometrist
No referral
No nothing
Just pain still in my eyes that I have trouble opening
Is this what you want to go through
This practice does not care if they lose money and patients read more
