I like Perks because there are tons of comfy chairs and couches to hang out at in between classes. There are seven high top tables with the availability to seat two or three people. They have an ice cream or soft serve frozen yogurt option with is really good but expensive. Several toppings including, walnut, oreos, sour worms, peanut butter cups, gummy bears and so on. They have all sorts of teas and coffee drinks including milk substitutes which is always a plus in my book. There are protein shakes, again not cheap, over five bucks just for one...Yikes. The staff here is always really kind. My biggest problem here is the music. Not only is it so so distractingly loud, they play pop and rap. The music doesn't suit the cafe. Maybe if they were playing some Norah Jones, I will be okay with the volume level. I'm not here for a dance party, I'm here to study, write a paper or quietly converse with my peers. read more
