I'm so glad I found Pho Bothell. I love Pho but this little gem is hidden in an old, tiny strip mall that I never get to on the west side of BEH, so I had no idea it was there. It's only a mile from my house! Anyway, all those years when I was at home and craved Pho but didn't want to drive through Bothell Traffic Hell 4 or 5 miles down the road to what I thought was the closest Pho restaurant I could've gone here! Happy Day! Now I can zip down the road and YEE HAW! There's Pho down there! Okay, on to the review. Their Pho. The broth is rich and clear and delicious. I asked for extra basil and I think they gave me an orchard of basil! Wow! Usually, at other places when I ask for extra basil I get 4 or 5 extra leaves, this was at least 2 extra bunches! I love thai basil more than I can say. I ordered Pho to go. All of the veg comes in a pack, as is normal, the noodles are in a separate container as is the meat. I ordered raw steak. When I got home I put everything together in the largest bowl I could find - which was a small tureen! and it was delicious. Each bite was heaven. Oh Pho, how I have missed you! The only thing I missed was lime and cilantro. I don't know if they forgot it or it just doesn't come with their Pho, but I'll ask for it next time - maybe tonight. The outside of the restaurant is nothing special, but the inside is clean, well maintained, nicely decorated and busy. Staff seems friendly and helpful. read more
