The Greek Salad is excellent & made for two - so far the best salad that I have had in Anchorage. We also split a Gyro which was presented calzone style rather than in pita bread. I must say it was quite good and not as messy as the traditional style. They also brought out garlic bread that was crispy-not soggy and very tasty!
At the conclusion of our meal, they gave us their traditional "Christmas Bread." They make over 3000 loaves of their bread and give it to their customers from Thanksgiving through New Years. It was a very nice touch.
I am very surprised that this place wasn't packed during lunch, but I believe it's because people think that this is just a pizza joint. I'm coming back soon and will review the pizza as I saw two awards for "Best Pizza" in Anchorage. read more
