We were traveling to the zoo and this was recommended to us to try. I was scared at first because there's a lot of seafood places that have scared me off before. Plank provisions did one heck of a job. This oyster bar was phenomenal. The service was great, the food was superb. I will say the Caesar salad with chicken I ordered was probably the best Caesar I've ever had (and I'm a big Caesar fan, so it has to be just right). The mahi mahi tacos were so delicious, the sauce, the flakiness everything about them were devoured. Lastly loved their happy hour options, were tried the calamari and hush puppies(the sauce with these were sooo good and spicy!) The whole place had a welcoming vibe, and made you feel like you were stepping somewhere on the coast side! Which is nice for the Midwest haha. Well done plank provisions! read more
