UPDATE: One of the owners offered to help me fix this. I will update review after the result.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really wanted to love the outcome of my salon appointment... My stylist IS talented, and I really liked her so much as a person... she did give me a good haircut... although it was about 6" shorter than I expected. Hair grows, its a good cut, so I'm okay.... My real problems are: 1) The overall look was SOOOOOO different than the pictures I took in for reference. Not one thing was similar to what I got. 2) when I said "balayage" I wasn't expecting streaky strands up to my root... Truly, weaving through the hair and applying the color like traditional foils is not balayage, it's just a full head of foils. It created that horrible stripey look and line of demarcation from where the color starts at the roots... but true balayage shouldn't start at the roots.... right?? It's supposed to have a seamless blended effect that looks good as it grows out. There is no root shadow like you would see in a true balayage. I also walked out with orange streaks, not platinum to tone silver. I'm so sad about this, and it wasn't exactly a cheap investment... truly, I just can't recommend this place based on my experience.
