Breakfast in Las Vegas, Nevada... Our friend, Cece, flew over from Northern California to spend the day with us. We asked her: what's on your list of places to visit in Vegas? One of the stops included: Pullman Bread I vaguely remembered reading Jessica P.'s review - and how thrilled she was to have Japanese goods that reminded her of when she lived in Japan. I went on to read Terri C.'s review and learned the history of the name of this Japanese bakery... George Pullman found out that three loaves of this bread could fit more efficiently into the same space as two loaves of round top loaves in the kitchens of the Pullman Railway system! Ah... Our turn to make foodie discoveries... The free parking was much appreciated! The interior of the shop was like being in Japan because of the decor... especially the zen garden and bonsai tree! I started grabbing pastries when I realized that the efficient, polite worker will collect items for customers. Sorry! We got two musubi: beef Wagyu and Grilled Salmon. We also got a Apple Filled Bun, Salty Buttery Bread with Garlic, and a Hawaiian Breeze Butter Mochi. All items were delicious, but our favorite was the Salty Buttery Bread with Garlic, followed by the Apple Filled Bun! We're so happy that we had a chance to try Pullman Bread and hope to return soon!
