I haven't been here in ages since they remodeled but finally was able to stop by! I was looking forward to try their ice matcha but it has dairy in it which I can't have right now. Someone told me this was one of the best matcha. However, you really can't substitute other nondairy options. They have none. I'll have to come back on a different day. Anyways I got the Wagyu rice ball, curry beef pastry, and egg sando. Egg sando was delicious and on point! I'd love to try their other sandos though. I like that they offer a toaster on the side for you to warm up your food before you leave. There is a wide variety of sandos (mostly savory egg options but one strawberry option), onigiris, pastries, salt bread, and buns. There was also soft shell crab which was an interesting find in a bakery. We got the garlic butter salt bread, the matcha melon pan, an egg & ham sando (happened to be 30% off today), and a peach apricot danish. Everything was a hit - so fresh and satisfying. It is a little on the pricier side but I think the quality is well worth it. Google reviews mention a discount for locals but this doesn't exist anymore just as an fyi. He had such an infectious, upbeat personality that it instantly set the tone and is exactly the kind of energy you want walking into a neighborhood spot. Food-wise, everything we ordered smacked! The beef curry bun (his recommendation) was a hit for my wife and I. The joint was crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful inside. I also grabbed the tuna mayo rice ball, which was simple but done really well. It reminded me of the ones you grab from the 7-11 in Japan. We also got a tiramisu dessert, which was a solid sweet treat to cap it off. I've had their egg sandwiches before too and they're really good, super soft bread and well balanced. I will say they're a little on the pricey side at around $7. Overall, this is a great spot if you're craving Japanese-style bakery items and quick bites. There were quite the selection to choose from. It took us a while to choose something. The food all looked amazingly delicious so it was a challenge to choose which I'd like to eat. Pullman Bread has quickly become a favorite even though it's on the opposite side of town for me. This was only my 2nd visit and once again, it did not disappoint! So far, I've tried their Iced Matcha Latte, Premium Wagyu Beef Onigiri, Strawberry Shortcake Cup, Strawberry Fruit Sandwich, Salmon Lettuce Sandwich and the Snow Crab and Fish Croquettes. I will always always always stop by Pullman's during my trip to Vegas for my all-time favorite tuna mayo onigiri. My most recent visit (which is today, hahah), I decided to drop a yelp review. I just feel like this place is so underrated, which is rare because Japanese bakeries are usually so popular and loaded with people. Plus, Pullman has great bread! Last time I tried their toast, which was sooo soft.. I was literally eating a cloud in my mouth! This place is open 17 hours, which is great for when you want a late night snack or a really early breakfast to get a head start on your day. Though it's open most of a day, their shelves are always full and the good are perfectly placed. This time I got tuna mayo onigiris (like every time), and the Belgian chocolate marble cube loaf, which I have never tried before. The onigiris: perfect every time. The Japanese rice is so soft and is loaded with tuna mayo. LOADED loaded. The Belgian chocolate marble cube loaf did not disappoint! The marble was impressive; the bread was in folds and there was chocolate in between each fold.. each bite had a good taste of chocolate! I love how Pullman do not waste even the odds and ends of their pastries. Instead of throwing it away, they put them out as samples for us to enjoy! I was craving something sweet late in the day but didn't want to drive far, so I checked Yelp and came across Pullman Bread. I honestly felt a little bad, thinking I might have misunderstood the process. I ended up ordering the beef curry bun since I've seen it recommended online. Pullman Bread saves the day as my just a bit over an hour flight was delayed 6 hours. Got to Vegas much later than I'd like, and thankfully Pullman was open. I walked in and wow, the place is so cute!! A lot of Japanese decor, both traditional and modern. They have quite the variety too, such as breads from flour from Hokkaido, flavored rolls, chicken karaage, onigiri, matcha strawberry tiramisu, fruit cream sandwiches, and so much more. As I missed dinner with friends, I got an onigiri and a truffle butter roll since airport food wasn't enough. A friend got the matcha tiramisu with strawberries and that was so pretty. This bakery is quire the find. Their soft bread really makes their sandos. The simple egg salad and the seasoned egg salad sandos were good. The onigiris were good and they incorporate the Japan wrapping to keep the seaweed crispy and separate from the rice. Both are served cold, but there's a microwave available in-store if you prefer them warmed up. The sandwiches are made on their signature bread, which was soft and pleasant. Overall, the sandwiches were good, but not standout compared to similar offerings I've had at other Japanese restaurants around Vegas. They were good, just not quite at the "must-have" level. They had a few onigiri available in about 6 flavors, and a bakery display with different kinds of desserts in it. The sandwiches with fruit and cream stood out to me the most. They also had some savory varieties. There were an array of cakes in cups, and I expected my partner to pick the matcha strawberry tiramisu. However, she decided on a package of butter mochi instead. She let me know she felt it was pricey but tasted a lot like her childhood. While I don't care much for mochi, I will admit it was pretty delicious. They also serve Japanese curry bowls here and a few varieties of tea. Everything looked really well presented and perfectly curated. That being said, the prices prevented us from trying as much as we wanted to. I felt that $8-9 is too much for the most of the desserts offered, so we skipped out on ordering anything else. I know that the desserts are made with imported flour - but it felt like too much of a splurge to spend $20 on two small desserts. I liked the interior of the shop a lot. It was an interesting layout with a little decorative display in the center that had some Japanese snacks and candy on it, and some areas to microwave or heat up your food on the way out. Everything was done in a lovely wooden theme inside, which was a nice change from the stereotypical Vegas shops that are sterile and minimalistic. This was a cute stop on our way home from IKEA, but it wasn't really for me personally. I like that it made my partner happy and that such a shop exists for those who are craving the sweet side of Japan. I'm in love with this place. It's official. I'm going to get down on one knee and ask Pullman Bread for its hand in marriage. I saw some videos about this place online and was so excited to try it during my short trip to Vegas from LA. It is so cute and cozy inside and the employees are super nice! I didn't get her name, but the woman helping us with blonde hair was the nicest person ever. When we told her we were traveling back home today, she helped us and gave us some ice and helped us pack our order to fit in there nicely. We got their egg sandwiches (delicious and so soft), their onigiri (favs: Char-Siu&Jidori Egg, Tuna Mayo, Grilled Salted Salmon), and some sweets. Their egg sandwiches are absolute perfection and so soft. Their onigiri is delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The rice... is something... I cannot even describe.
