TL;DR - Definitely worth a visit - $ Coffee jelly (8/10) - light layer of cream on top, rich flavor, not bitter at all. I was impressed by how they managed to get the coffee taste without making it too bitter, as that had been my experience with other coffee jelly in the past. Char siu and egg bun (9/10) - baked bread was light, flavorful, meat is delicious, egg perfectly cooked, I like the idea of sauce on the side so you pour it on top when you ready to eat keep flavor fresh. Beef curry bun (7/10) - very strong curry smell from the first bite. There was lots of meat, maybe 90% meat and 10% bun. Although, it was more like a fried bun. UFO bun (4/10) - just a regular bread, not something special or worth getting again for me. Rich Fluffy Square Loaf (Shikaku) (4/10) - we tried this loaf at home and it wasn't anything special. The price was certainly not worth it. Salty Buttery Bread (5/10) - this was a bit mixed, the flavor was excellent as the salt and butter were perfectly complementary. The bread was soft and this would have been my favorite except the dough was undercooked on the inside. There would be people who would be very turned off by this, rightfully so, however I still enjoyed the flavor. Worth the price? - absolutely There are several different things you can grab for a moderate price. The difficulty is only grabbing one. Lots of things to try so the bill can go up pretty quickly if your not careful. However, the flavor and portion size are accurate for the price you pay, so I wouldn't complain. Ambiance - cute little Japanese bakery The design of this place is perfect and resembles an actual shop in Japan. There is no seating, so it's really a grab and go style the staff was very nice and had great recommendations. There's no sign up (as of this writing) but it shouldn't be hard if you look for people walking out with loaves of bread. read more
