Quest Diagnostics is a huge company founded in 1967 with labs all over the US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Brazil. They provide diagnostic testing for all types of diseases, cancers, disorders, drug testing, and Covid-19. This location was in a convenient location and on the first floor. Parking was spacious. Booking an appointment online was quick and easy. I've always used QD for the majority of my labs, for years now; pretty much all of my doctors and insurance providers use their services. Checking in was easy, there is a kiosk and/or a link gets texted to your mobile phone to check in.
On my first visit, I waited a few minutes in the lobby before being called in for my appointment. The person helping was cordial but unfortunately she couldn't proceed with my blood work; my doctor didn't completely fill out the requisition, so the system wouldn't let her proceed. This wasn't her fault and I understood, but I was disappointed because I was fasting and drove there early for this appointment. Since it's a Saturday, I couldn't reach my doctor for the missing code. I had to reach my doctor on Monday for this info. and rebook another appointment. In the end, my experience was 1 star but at no fault of Quest Diagnostics; I gave them 4 stars because ease of making an appointment, how quickly I got in, and cleanliness. read more
